How to Copy a Menu

How to copy a menu from one Softpoint location to another:

1. Access Requirements: You need access to multiple locations within the same corporate account to copy menus between them.
2. Copy Individual Categories:
   • In the Softpoint dashboard, go to Menu.
   • Find the category (e.g., "Beverages") and click the three dots, then select Copy Category.
   • Choose the target location and copy the category.
     • NOTE: Items that are inactive at the item-level or category-level will not copy.
3. Copy Multiple Categories:
   • In the dashboard, go to Menu Management under Menus (available only for categories within the same corporate account).
   • Select the source location and choose the categories you want to copy.
   • Pick the target location for the categories.
   • Click Submit to begin the copy process, which will be tracked in the Menu Management Queue.
4. Track Progress: The Menu Management Queue shows the status of the copy process. You can filter by time frame or target location to monitor progress.
