Creating & Editing a Modifier

The video explains how to set up modifiers in the SoftPoint Point-of-Sale system:

1. Integration with External POS:

   • If integrated with an external POS, modifiers will sync from the external system.

2. Creating Modifiers:

   • Log into the dashboard and navigate to Menus to see the list of current modifiers.
   • Click the Add button to create a new modifier. You can set:
     • Modifier name and button name.
     • Price and group assignment.
     • Availability for the POS, handheld device, online ordering, or kiosk.

3. Editing Modifiers:

   • After adding, modifiers appear in the list. You can select actions to edit or deactivate.
   • In the editing section, you can adjust:
     • Active status for different platforms (POS, online, kiosk).
     • Modifier name, button name, and price levels (e.g., $1 or different price variations).
     • Attached modifier groups.

This process allows you to create, edit, and manage modifiers effectively in the SoftPoint system.
