Creating & Editing a Modifier Group

Adding a Modifier Group:

1. Access SoftPoint Dashboard:

   • Log into your SoftPoint dashboard using the appropriate credentials.

2. Navigate to Modifier Groups:

   • From the main menu, go to the Menu section.
   • Select Modifier Groups to view or manage modifier groups.

3. View Existing Modifier Groups:

   • A list of all currently active modifier groups will be displayed.
   • You can use filter options to toggle between active or inactive modifier groups.

4. Add a New Modifier Group:

   • Click the Add button to begin creating a new modifier group.

5. Create New Modifier Group:

   • Group Name: Enter a name for internal reference.
   • Button Name: Specify the name that will appear in the SoftPoint application.
   • Marketing Name: Optionally, enter a name that may be shown on customer-facing platforms like online ordering or kiosks.

6. Choose Availability:

   • Select where this modifier group will be available (e.g., POS, online ordering, kiosk, or all three).

7. Submit and Save:

   • After entering all the details, click Submit to create the modifier group.

Editing Modifier Groups:

1. Access Modifier Group Details:

   • After creating the modifier group, locate it in the list of modifier groups.
   • Click on the modifier group to access and edit its details.

2. Modify Group Details:

   • You can edit additional settings such as minimum and maximum selection limits.
   • Choose whether modifiers within the group are required or optional.

3. Add Modifiers to Group:

   • Inside the modifier group details, navigate to the Modifiers section.
   • Add specific modifiers that should belong to this group.

4. Save Changes:

   • After making changes, ensure you save the modified details and any added modifiers.
