Creating & Editing a Nested Modifier

How to set up nested modifiers in SoftPoint:

1. Integration with External POS: If modifiers are connected through an external POS, nested modifiers are set up in that system.

2. Setting up Nested Modifiers:

   • Log into the SoftPoint dashboard and go to Modifiers.
   • Select a modifier and find the Nested Modifier Groups section.
   • Add a nested modifier group, such as "upcharge vodka," and set:
     • Minimum and maximum selection limits.
     • Whether it’s optional or required.
     • Availability on POS, handheld, online ordering, or kiosk.

3. Editing Nested Modifiers:

   • After submitting, the nested modifier appears in the list, where you can edit its properties (e.g., minimum/maximum selections, optional/required status).
   • If multiple modifiers exist, they can be sorted as needed.

This process allows you to effectively manage nested modifiers within the SoftPoint system.
