Creating & Editing Price Levels

How to set multiple price levels for an item in the SoftPoint system:

1. External POS Integration: If connected to an external POS system, price levels will be set there and imported into SoftPoint.
2. Log into SoftPoint Dashboard: Go to Menus > Items to view a list of all items.
3. Edit Item Price:
   • Select an item (e.g., "1942 Anejo") and go to the General section.
   • Add a new price level (e.g., "Happy Hour" for $25) in addition to the default price ($30).
4. Set Default Price Level: After adding a price, you can set it as the default. For example, the "Happy Hour" price can be set as the default for new menu categories.
5. Set Price by Menu Category:
   • Go to Menus and select the relevant category (e.g., alcohol, cocktails, or tequila).
   • Change the price level for specific categories (e.g., set the price to "Happy Hour" for the cocktails category).
6. Adjust Price for Different Categories: Prices can be different for various menu categories, allowing for flexibility in pricing per category (e.g., $50 for online ordering).

This process allows you to manage multiple price levels for items and set different prices for various menu categories.
