Here’s how to setup the Menu Visibility Rules:
- In the SoftPoint dashboard, go to the Menu Layout section.
- Select a category and click Edit or create a new one.
- Scroll down to the Menu Visibility Rules section (under Days Available).
By default, all menus are visible to everyone. However, you can customize visibility by:
- Choosing Only Selected Job Codes Can See This Menu
→ Example: Make a menu visible only to Managers. - Choosing Everyone Except Selected Job Codes Can See This Menu
→ Example: Hide a menu from the Front of House Manager, while everyone else can see it.
These visibility rules allow you to create separate menu views for different positions (such as servers, bartenders, hosts, or managers), helping control access based on job roles.
