- Tap on the item (e.g., "Fruit Cup") that has been configured to work with the scale.
Step 3: Choose How to Enter the Weight
- You can either:
- Manually enter the weight, or
- Tap the scale icon to use the integrated scale.
Step 4: Use the Scale to Weigh the Item
- Ensure the scale is set to display the weight in ounces.
- Place the item on the scale.
Step 5: Automatically Calculate the Price
- Tap the scale icon to let the system automatically calculate the price based on the configured rate (e.g., $0.75 per ounce).
- Example: 4.4 ounces × $0.75 = $3.30
Step 6: Add More Items if Needed
- You can continue adding other items to the order as necessary.
Step 7: Manually Enter Weight (Optional)
- If needed, you can manually enter the weight by typing it directly into the system.
Step 8: Decimal Point is Auto-Inserted
- When entering weight manually, the decimal point is automatically included.
- Just type the numeric value
Step 9: Confirm the Total
- The system will show the same calculated total whether the weight is entered manually or via the scale.
Step 10: Complete the Transaction
- Proceed with the checkout or continue with other POS operations.
