How to configure the automatic fire (auto-fire) feature on the SoftPoint Point-of-Sale (POS) system using the hold system.

Go to the dashboard > setup > configuration settings to enable the ability to hold items and auto-fire.

If enabled, you can set a default auto-fire timer (in seconds) that automatically sends held items to the kitchen after a set time (e.g., 240 seconds = 4 minutes).

If the timer field is left blank, items won’t auto-fire unless set individually.

You can also configure auto-fire times per item by going to menu layout > item (e.g., cheeseburger) > general tab and setting a specific time (e.g., 480 seconds = 8 minutes).

This setup allows either global or item-specific control over when held items are automatically sent for preparation.
