Steps for Changing Menu Layout in SoftPoint POS

1. Accessing Configuration Settings:

   • Start by navigating to the configuration settings section in your SoftPoint dashboard.

2. Switching to Horizontal Layout:

   • Select the "Horizontal" layout option.
   • In this layout, categories will appear side-by-side across the screen.
   • Clicking on a category will display the items under that category.
   • Use the top-left corner to navigate back to the previous level.

3. Switching to Vertical Layout:

   • Change the layout setting to "Vertical".
   • After changing, refresh the POS system to apply the new layout.
   • Upon completing the refresh and logging in, the menu will now appear vertically.
   • Categories will be listed on the left side, with subcategories and items displayed beneath each category.
   • You can scroll vertically to view categories and their respective contents.

4. Preference and Recap:

   • Choose between horizontal and vertical layouts based on your personal preference:
     • Horizontal layout offers a side-by-side view of categories.
     • Vertical layout provides a list-based view, with categories listed top-to-bottom.
