To access the Refunds Report in the SoftPoint dashboard:

Navigate to Reports: Select Reports under the "OPERATIONS" tab on the left.

Find the Payments and Discounts Section: On the right, scroll down to the Payments and Discounts section and click View next to "Refunds."

This will take you to the Transactions Report.
- Select Date Range: Choose the date or date range at the top (today, yesterday, last 7 days, last 30 days, this month, last month, or a custom range).
- Apply Filter: If you select Advanced Search, you'll see that it is already set to "Refunds" under Transaction Types.
- Click Search: Hit the Search button.

View Refunds: The report will display refunds based on the filters set. Information includes:
- Type
- Status (approved or declined)
- Transaction number
- Ticket number (if applicable)
- Employee (if applicable)
- Base amount
- Tip amount
- Surcharge
- Total refund
- Payment method (including card type and last 4 digits of the credit card number)
- Date and time of the refund

Ticket Details: Clicking on the ticket number will take you to the Ticket Details, where you can see the items on the ticket, the refund amount (full or partial), and other details.

Export the Report: To export the report, use the Export button to save it as an Excel, PDF, or CSV file.
