To access and utilize the Gift Card Activity Report in the SoftPoint dashboard, follow these steps:
Accessing the Gift Card Activity Report
- Sign in to the Dashboard.
- Go to Reports: Under the OPERATIONS tab on the left side, select Reports.
- Find the Gift Card Activity Report: Scroll down to the Payments and Discounts section on the right.
- View the Report: Click the View button next to the Gift Card Activity.
Using the Gift Card Activity Report
- The report takes you to a transactions page where the advanced search is pre-configured to focus on Gift Card tender types.
- You can also search by:
- Transaction ID
- Ticket Number
- Employee
- Guest
- Last 4 Digits of a Credit Card
- Date Range: Select from options like:
- Today
- Yesterday
- Last 7 Days
- Last 30 Days
- This Month
- Last Month
- Custom Range
- Location Filter: If you’re part of a corporate setup, you can select multiple locations.
Report Details
The report will display:
- Type of Transaction
- Status (Approved or Declined)
- Transaction Number
- Ticket Number
- Employee
- Amount Processed
- Gift Card Information
Exporting the Report
The report can be exported in Excel, PDF, or CSV formats for further analysis or sharing.
