To find and utilize the Cash Activity Report in the SoftPoint dashboard, follow these steps:
Accessing the Cash Activity Report
- Sign in to the SoftPoint Dashboard.
- Go to Reports: Under the OPERATIONS tab on the left side, select Reports.
- Locate the Cash Activity Report: On the right side, scroll down to the Payments and Discounts section.
- View the Report: Click View next to the Cash Activity Report.
Using the Cash Activity Report
- After clicking View, you’ll be taken to a list of transactions.
- The top section provides search and filter options:
- Search Filters: You can search by Transaction Number, Ticket Number, Employee, Guest, or the last 4 digits of a credit card.
- Date Filters: Select from predefined date ranges (e.g., today, yesterday, last 7 days, last 30 days, this month, last month) or set a custom date range.
- Location Filters: Choose one or multiple locations.
Viewing Transaction Details
- The filtered transactions will appear in the lower section.
- For cash transactions, you’ll see:
- Ticket Number
- Employee Name
- Guest Name
- Base Amount
- Tip
- Surcharge
- Total Amount
- Time of Transaction
- Note: Transaction IDs won’t be displayed for cash transactions.
Additional Actions
- Clicking the three dots icon at the end of a transaction line provides options to:
- View the Ticket
- See Transaction Details
- Opening Transaction Details allows you to:
- View detailed information related to the transaction.
- Print the receipt.
- Process a refund.
