What tip suggestions does SoftPoint support?

  • Tip percentages will be calculated based on overall total that includes tax.
  • $10 overall total, with 10% tip it will be $1.
• Subtotal + Discount:
  • Tip percentages will be calculated based on subtotal + any discounts applied.
  • $10 (Subtotal) + $1 (Discount) = $11 for tip calculation, with 10% tip it will be $1.10
• Subtotal:
  • Tip percentages will be calculated based on subtotal.
  • $10 (subtotal) and $12 (Total), with 10% tip it will be $1
• Grand Total - Discounts:
  • Tip percentages will be calculated based on overall total - discounts.
  • $50 (Overall Total) - $5 (Discount) = $45, with 10% tip it will be $4.50 for every payment
