To perform a POS refresh in the SoftPoint dashboard, follow these steps:
- Log in to the SoftPoint dashboard.
- Select the three dashes icon in the top right corner.
- Go to Settings.
- Choose POS Refresh.
You'll be prompted with two options:

Quick Refresh:
Use this if changes were made at the dashboard level, such as menu updates, employee PIN changes, or terminal settings. Changes will reflect immediately on the device. -
Full Refresh:
Use this for changes made on the POS level, like adding a new employee. This process may take a few minutes, and the device will be unavailable during the refresh.
After the refresh:
- Any additional terminal on the property will auto-update after 30 minutes, or you can run a manual Quick Refresh on them.
This process ensures the POS terminals are synced with recent updates.
