How to assign items to specific seats in the SoftPoint POS system:
How to Assign Seats:
- Open an existing ticket.
- Tap the three dots in the lower-left corner and select “Assign Seat.”
- A screen appears showing all items and available seats.
Seat Assignment Options:
- Select one or multiple items (e.g., steak burger, Cobb salad) and assign them to specific seats (e.g., seat 2 or 3).
- You can add new seats if needed.
- Drag to scroll and view all seat options.
Sharing Items:
- You can share an item across all seats (e.g., onion rings).
- Use "Unshare" to remove the shared status.
- Then, reassign the item to specific seats (e.g., only seat 2 and 3).
Finalizing:
- Tap “Done” to save changes.
- The ticket will now show which seat each item belongs to, allowing for clearer organization and easier checkout for groups.
