To access the Snapshot Report in the SoftPoint dashboard:
- Navigate to Snapshot: On the left, under OPERATIONS, select Snapshot.
Snapshot Report Overview
The report provides a breakdown of the current status of the location:
- Net Sales: Displays overall sales. If ordering is used, it shows order types like As App, As Entrée, and Other.
- Average Daily Sales: Shows a breakdown of daily sales averages.
- Sales for the Year: Displays sales data, with options to view by month or week.
- Open Tickets: Shows the number of open tickets for the current month.
- Guest Satisfaction: Includes reviews gathered through e-mail or text features.
- Payment Summary: Breaks down payments by AMEX, VISA, MasterCard, Discover, Other, and Cash, with amounts, tips, and totals.
- Top Sales Categories: Highlights the best-performing sales categories.
- Net Sales by Time of Day: Compares current sales by time of day with sales from the same day last week, using color-coded lines (bright yellow for last week, gray for the current day). This helps analyze performance trends.
The Snapshot report provides a comprehensive view of key business metrics and performance comparisons.
