• Steps to Apply a Coupon in SoftPoint POS

  1. Hit the "Pay" Button:

     • Begin by selecting the "Pay" button to proceed to the payment screen.

  2. Navigate to the Discount Option:

     • On the payment screen, find and select the Discount option.

  3. Locate the Scan Icon:

     • On the right side of the amount, you will see an icon for scanning. Look for the scan icon.

  4. Press the Scan Icon:

     • Tap or press the scan icon to bring up scanning options.

  5. Choose the Barcode Scanning Option:

     • You will be prompted with two options:
       • Scan the barcode, or
       • Enter the barcode manually.
     • Choose the option that suits your needs.

  6. Scan the Code:

     • If you choose to scan the barcode, use your device’s scanner to scan the code from the coupon.
     • Alternatively, manually input the barcode number if necessary.

  7. Apply the Coupon:

     • After scanning or entering the barcode, the coupon will be applied to the ticket automatically.

  8. Confirm Coupon Application:

     • Ensure that the coupon has been successfully applied by verifying the discount or change in the total amount on the screen.
