Steps to Customize Tip Text on SoftPoint POS

Use Additional Tip Text:
- Navigate to Configuration > Printing in the dashboard.
- Set the option to Use Additional Tip Text.
- This setting prompts the POS unit with a message like "Would you like to leave an additional tip?" during card payments.

Use Tip Text:
- Update the setting to Use Tip Text.
- This changes the tip prompt to a standard message, such as "Would you like to leave a tip?".
- This is the default setting for most accounts when initially configured.

Use Custom Additional Tip Text:
- Choose Use Custom Additional Tip Text.
- Enter a custom message that will appear on the POS unit during the tip selection process.
- For example, you can specify: "23% gratuity has been applied. Select 'Other' for an additional tip."
- Any message that fits your business needs can be entered.
- Save your changes and refresh the device to see the updated custom tip message.
