Managing Settings

To change the settings on your SoftPoint system:

1. Log into the SoftPoint Dashboard: Access the configuration settings where you can adjust the default settings.
2. Ordering Module: Enable or disable the ordering feature, allowing for new ticket creation.
3. Covers Settings: Set the default number of covers (e.g., change from 2 to 4).
4. Tip Settings:
   • Choose whether to accept tips on the terminal or receipt.
   • Set default tip percentages.
   • Select how tips are calculated (e.g., total, subtotal, etc.).
5. Tip Screen Customization: Decide if you want options like the "no tip" button or whether the tip screen should show tables first.
6. Table Display: Customize how tables appear on the system (e.g., show occupied tables).
7. Order Level Settings: If using an external POS like Aloha, you can set item order level requirements.

By accessing the configuration settings, you can tailor the SoftPoint system to fit your business needs.
