How to Pair a Payment Device to a Workstation

To set up a terminal for a quick service location on SoftPoint:

1. Log into the SoftPoint dashboard and go to the "Setup Terminals" page.
2. Create or select an existing terminal and set the terminal mode to "Tethered" for quick service.
3. If the terminal is already created, select it and edit the terminal mode to "Tethered" or "Quick Service."
4. Pair the terminal with the workstation (either another terminal or an external terminal synced with SoftPoint).
5. In the terminal settings, connect the credit card reader and save changes.
6. Once successfully paired, the terminal is ready for use.
