Confirm Supported Printer Types
- Your KDS system supports the following label printers:
- Epson
- Bixolon
- Zebra
- Any of these may be used for label printing depending on what you have available.

1. Go to KDS Settings
- In the KDS software, navigate to Settings.
- Inside Settings, locate the Printers section.
2. Choose Your Printer Model
- Select the printer model you're adding.
- You can connect via:
- Bluetooth
- USB, or
- Local Network
- If using Bluetooth:
- Tap the “Bluetooth Allowed” option to enable BT searching.
- The KDS will scan for nearby printers.
3. Select the Printer
- After scanning, a list of available printers will appear.
- Identify your printer by matching its MAC address (found on the side of the printer).
- Select the correct printer in the list.
4. Configure Printer Details
- Once selected, the system will autofill:
- Printer Name
- Printer Series
You may:
- Rename the printer if desired.
- Correct the series if it auto-detects incorrectly.
5. Adjust Font Size
- Choose your preferred print font size:
- Normal, or
- Large
- This can be changed later if needed.
6. Choose Printing Options
Two important settings appear here:

Automatic Printing
- Enable this if the printer should automatically print when certain order events occur.
- Labels print instantly based on the order type and event settings you configured.
- When enabled, you can configure:
- Which order types trigger printing (for-here, drive‑thru, curbside, to‑go, delivery, pickup).
- Whether printing occurs when the order is received or bumped.
- If automatic printing is not enabled, printing can still be done manually from tickets.

Label vs. Ticket Mode
- Select whether this printer is:
- A Label Printer (e.g., like Starbucks uses for stickers), or
- A Ticket Printer
- Select whether this printer is:
7. Finalize Setup
- Tap Configure to save your settings.
- The printer is now set up and ready for use.
