Use this process when a customer wants to pay all or part of their ticket using a Factor4 Gift Card

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Open the Ticket and Start Payment

1. Open the customer’s ticket.
2. Tap Pay in the bottom-right corner of the screen.

2. Select Factor4 as the Payment Method

1. From the payment options, choose Factor4.
2. The Factor4 screen will open.

3. Scan the Gift Card for Balance Inquiry

1. On the Factor4 screen, you’ll see the Balance Inquiry field.
2. Tap Scan to activate the barcode scanner.
3. Hold the gift card’s barcode in front of the scanner.
4. Once detected, the gift card number will automatically populate in the field.
   • This eliminates the need to manually type the card number.

4. Review the Gift Card Balance

1. After scanning, the available balance on the gift card is displayed (for example, $50.00).
2. Confirm the balance with the customer.

5. Redeem the Gift Card

1. Tap Redeem to apply the gift card to the ticket.
2. If the gift card balance is less than the total amount due, a notification will appear.
3. Select Ok, Got It to continue applying the gift card to the ticket.

6. Complete Survey Prompt (If Enabled)

• If surveys are enabled at your location:
  1. Choose whether to proceed with the survey.
  2. For this flow, select No Thank You to continue.

7. Handle Remaining Balance

1. If the gift card does not cover the full ticket amount:
   • A message will indicate that the ticket is not yet closed.
2. Tap Done.
3. Receipt options will appear as usual.
4. You’ll be returned to the ticket screen, where the remaining balance can be paid using another payment method.
