Biometric Payments - Online Ordering (E-commerce)

1. Navigate to Online Ordering

• Go to the online ordering website.
• Browse available categories and menu items.

2. Add an Item to the Cart

• Select an item (e.g., Cheeseburger).
• Complete all required modifiers.
• Click Add to Cart.

3. Proceed to Checkout

• Open the cart (top-right corner).
• Select Checkout.

4. Biometric Recognition Step

• When prompted, allow camera access.
• The biometric capture screen will appear:
  • Users can take a selfie directly.
  • Alternatively, users can click the camera icon to switch to a different view if their desktop setup needs it.
• Mobile devices will show an oval guide to help position the face.

5. Consent & Face Capture

• Agree to the Biometric Data Terms & Conditions.
• Take the biometric selfie.

6. Account Match & Order Details

• If the system identifies the user:
  • Select Order Type (Pickup).
  • Choose Date and Time for pickup.

7. Payment Selection

• Choose from saved credit cards recognized from the user’s account.
• Optional: Add a new payment method.
• Confirm the selected card.

8. Place the Order

• Click Place Order.
• A confirmation screen will display:
  • Thank-you message.
  • Estimated pickup time (calculated based on selected time and system prep-time intelligence).

9. Order Confirmation & Receipt

• Click OK, Got It.
• View the order receipt.
• Bring the receipt to the location for pickup verification.
