Label Printer Setup

How to set up a label printer for the KDS system.

• Compatible label printers include Epson, Bixolon, and Zepra.
• To configure, go to settings in the KDS software and select the printer.
• Printers can be connected via Bluetooth, USB, or local network.
• Once connected, you can name the printer, choose its series, and adjust font size.
• You can enable automatic printing for specific order types (e.g., for here, drive-thru, delivery).
• Option to set the printer as a label or ticket printer, with label printers used for printing customer labels (like at Starbucks).
• Once configured, you can manually print or set it for automatic printing when orders are received or bumped.
