How to Pay with Card

How to set up card payments for online ordering in Softpoint:

1. Initial Setup: During onboarding, ensure that a Card Not Present VAR is set up for payment processing.

2. Enable Card Payment:

   • Log into the Softpoint dashboard.
   • Go to Contactless Online Ordering and ensure Pay by Card is set to Enabled.

3. Online Ordering Process:

   • When ordering online, select an item (e.g., Coke) and proceed to checkout.
   • Choose the credit card option and enter your credit card details.
   • Depending on the processor, you may also need to provide your address.

4. Complete the Order:

   • After entering the payment information, select a tip and place the order.
   • The payment will be processed, and the order will be sent through the Softpoint system.

This setup allows customers to pay by card during online orders through the Softpoint system.
