Please see the tvideo and instructions below on how to create a ticket, add items to it and pay it out on the SoftPoint App. 

• Steps to Create and Pay a Ticket in SoftPoint

  1. Log into SoftPoint:

     • Begin by logging into the SoftPoint application using your PIN pad.

  2. Access the Ticket Screen:

     • Once logged in, you will land on the ticket screen.

  3. Create a New Ticket:

     • To start a new ticket, you can either:
       • Press the blue plus button on the ticket screen.
       • Press the three lines in the upper right-hand corner and select "New Ticket."

  4. Enter Ticket Details:

     • On the ticket creation screen, fill in the following information:
       • Order type: Select the type of order (e.g., dine-in, takeout).
       • Revenue center: Choose the relevant revenue center.
       • Table number or order name: Enter the table number or provide an order name.
       • Number of covers: Specify how many people are on the ticket.

  5. Proceed to Menu Screen:

     • After entering the required information, move to the menu screen.

  6. Select Menu Items:

     • The menu is divided into groups with items inside each group.
     • Select the desired menu group and items. For example:
       • Choose beverages and select specific drink options.
     • Customize items if needed, such as adding a note (e.g., "milk on the side").
     • Add selected items to the cart.

  7. Review and Create the Order:

     • Once all items are added to the cart, review them.
     • Go to the cart and click Create Order.
     • The ticket is now created and visible on the ticket page.

  8. Pay the Ticket:

     • To pay, select the green pay button.
     • Choose the payment method:
       • Card: Swipe, tap, or insert the card.
       • Cash: If cash payment is enabled.
     • Enter any additional amounts, if necessary (e.g., for tips).
     • Complete the payment process.

  9. Ticket Closure:

     • After a successful payment, a thank you screen will appear.
     • The ticket will be marked as closed on the ticket page.
