How to Setup your Menu

How to set up the online ordering menu in Softpoint:

1. External POS Integration: If integrated with an external POS, the categories for online ordering will come from the external system, though you can create new categories in Softpoint.

2. Log into Softpoint Dashboard: Go to Menu > Layout and select Online Ordering.

3. View Categories: Categories will either come from your external POS or be created within Softpoint for POS purposes.

4. Create/Modify Categories:

   • Click the three dots next to a category to add new categories or deactivate existing ones.

5. Add Items to Categories:

   • You can create new items or select existing items.
   • Change the item name (how it appears in online ordering) and set the price.
   • You can reorder items or adjust their price levels specifically for online ordering.

This process allows you to customize the online ordering menu, including adding categories, items, and setting prices.
