Transferring & Deactivating Terminals

How to transfer terminals between locations in the SoftPoint Point of Sale (POS) system:

1. Accessing Terminal Settings: Log into the SoftPoint dashboard and go to the "Terminals" section.

2. Transferring a Terminal:

   • Ensure the terminal is part of your corporation and available in both locations.

   • Under "Actions," select "Transfer to" and choose the destination location.
   • The terminal will be moved, and you will no longer see it in the current location.

3. Deactivating a Terminal: If you want to remove a terminal, you can select "Deactivate" under "Actions" instead of transferring it.

This process allows you to move or deactivate terminals within the SoftPoint system.
