To complete an online order in the SoftPoint dashboard for a location with Online Ordering, follow these steps:
- Select the location with Online Ordering enabled.
- Click on "Online Order" to bring up the menu (with or without pictures).
- Select an item:
- If the item has no modifiers, it will go directly to the cart.
- If modifications are needed:
- Go to the cart.
- Long hold the item to bring up a pop-up window with options to add something to the meal or provide additional instructions.
Checkout Process:
- Select "Check Out" once you are ready to complete the order.
- Click "Proceed as Guest".
- Fill in the payment details, including:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Phone number
- On the right, choose your payment option:
- Credit Card: If you select this, fill in your credit card details.
- Pay in Store: If you choose this option, select "Place Order" to send the order to the POS. You will be able to select and pay for it once you are in the store.
- If you choose Credit Card, after filling in the credit card information, click "Place Order".
- The order will be sent to the POS.
- You will receive information on when you can pick up the order and the balance due.
- A receipt will also be sent to your email.
