Rongta Printer Setup to Turn Off Voice

To set up the Rongta Printer and turn off the voice feature, follow these steps:

Download the Necessary Files:

1. Access the official website at Rongta Downloads.
2. Select DOWNLOAD from the top of the screen.
3. Choose Driver Download from the left menu.
4. Download the Windows drivers.
5. Then, select Tool Download and download the Thermal Printer Tool.

Installing the Rongta Driver:

1. Open the folder where the downloads are saved.
2. Run the Rongta Driver installer.
   • This will connect the printer to your computer.
3. If needed, add a port:
   • Choose the appropriate port.
   • Click OK.
   • In the pop-up window, fill in the Port Name and IP.
   • Click OK and select Install.

Confirm Printer Connection:

1. Go to Printers and Scanners on your computer.
2. Check the list to see if the Rongta printer is displayed.
3. Run a test print to confirm the printer is connected.

Turning Off the Printer Voice:

1. Open the Rongta Printer Tool you downloaded earlier.
2. Choose either the Port or Printer Driver option.
3. Select the Printer Driver that was tested and click on Set Printer.
4. In the top right corner, scroll all the way to the right and choose Other.
5. Under Volume set, select Voiceless.
6. Click Set.
   • The printer should beep, confirming the setting change.
7. Click OK.

Run another test print to ensure everything is set up correctly.
